Jen Amos

Jen Amos is an award-winning podcaster and entrepreneur. She first found podcasting in summer 2019 as a way to work through depression and bouts of loneliness after moving from San Diego, CA (her home of 20+ years) to Hampton Roads, VA in pursuit of new business ventures.

Jen actively seeks to find common ground through conversation and storytelling to foster connection, community and collaboration. She is known for her active listening skills, candidness, and ability to uncover insightful stories and universal lessons while conversing with her guests. Her favorite topics to cover on her podcast shows involve military families, entrepreneurs, and Filipino American culture. Since summer 2019, she has conducted 600+ podcast interviews.

Jen received her Bachelor’s in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations at San Diego State University. For more than a decade, she has made a living in sales and in entrepreneurship with experience in the legal industry, online marketing, and now financial services.

During her leisure time, she enjoys exercising, watching and studying her favorite shows, and volunteering at her church.

Nani Dominguez Smith

Nani Dominguez Smith is a Filipina American wife, mother, writer, and podcaster from Oakland, California with five years of storytelling experience in digital media. The topics she examines include culture, identity, family and relationships, and mental health to advance her mission of helping people develop healthier relationships with their inner world.
In the few years she has been building her freelance writing business, she has partnered with corporate healthcare giants such as Kaiser Permanente, educational institutions in higher academia such as the University of California, Davis, alternative women’s wellness brands like Ladykind, and other local Bay Area non-profits. Her work has been featured in a variety of media outlets such as Adweek, Spotify, an exhibit at the California Museum in Sacramento, and the Bulosan Center for Filipinx Studies' historical archive.
